1-4pm Pittsburgh Glass Center Visit​​

 

Tour the newly renovated, energy efficient Pittsburgh Glass Center, learn about how Building America, CDE, as subsidiary of the AFL-CIO HIT helped to finance this community-serving, quality jobs-supporting project, and enjoy a hands-on learning experience making a glass souvenir.

5:30-7pm Evening Reception

Join other summit attendees for a casual reception in preparation for Wednesday's main program

Location and Accommodations

The summit's main program will be held at Pittsburgh's Energy Innovation Center, 1435 Bedford Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

The Pittsburgh Glass Center is located at 5472 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. For those traveling to Pittsburgh without a car, transportation to the tour can be provided.

A block of rooms has been reserved at Marriott Pittsburgh City Center, 112 Washington Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

Downtown also has several other hotels a short distance from Energy Innovation Center.

Travel Stipends

A limited number of travel stipends are available to support attendance at the summit. If you would like a travel stipend, please indicate your interest on the registration form and Hub staff will contact you with details, or email ASFHub@steelvalley.org with questions.
